Merry Monday 143:

Good Monday morning to you all!

This week at Merry Monday, Lori has chosen the theme of using CAROLERS (or music theme) on your card.

I knew right away which stamp I would be using (as I only have one caroling stamp - easy decision, right?).  I dug out this cutie pie from C.C. Designs.  I was blessed to be on the design team until the challenge closed a few years back.

I have so many cutie tootie stamps from C.C. Designs and was thrilled to re-ink Caroling Emma (which has been discontinued) in Onyx Black VersaFine.  I paper pieced her outfit in Doodlebug Santa Express and coloured her with with Prismacolor Premier pencils and blended with Speedball Mona Lisa Odorless Paint Thinner (100% mineral spirits).  I then finished it all off with a My Favorite Things Cheerful Christmas sentiment.

Stacked Thanks:

Hello all!  I hope you have been enjoying your weekend so far.  It's been raining here, that's right, rain in January is unheard of where I live.
Blizzards, yes.
Ten feet of snow, yes.
Rain, no.
Needless to say I am staying in the craftroom this weekend as it's pretty icy out there.

So today I started with Reverse Confetti Tag Me, Circles 'n Scallops, Tag Me Too, and Triangles Pretty Panel Confetti Cuts with MME Lost & Found Two Rosy paper.  I finished it all off with a Paper Smooches Thanks Wise Die, stitching, and MME enamel dots.

Merry Monday 142:

Good morning all!

This week at Merry Monday, Kristie has chosen the theme of using a HOUSE(S) on your card.

I cheated just a bit on this one.  I used a building, which I turned into a home.  Pretty close right??

I kept my card very CAS with layering up a Paper Smooches Backdrop Building Wise Die and adding a tiny heart from Reverse Confetti's Donut You Know Confetti Cuts.  I finished it all off with a Simon Says Stamp Inside Holiday Greetings sentiment in Onyx Black VersaFine and American Crafts twine.

Watercolour Thank You:

Good morning all!  Happy Saturday!

I thought I would bring out my watercolours today and created an ombre effect by adding more water to my paints as I went along.  I created some texture with My Favorite Things Diagonal Stripes stencil and Ranger Texture Paste.  I added Reverse Confetti Tag Me and Double Edge Scalloped Border Confetti Cuts and finished it all off with some stitching and Doodlebug enamel dots.  The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Many Thanks collection stamped with Onyx Black VersaFine.

Merry Monday 141:

Good morning all!   I do hope you enjoyed your weekend.  I have been rather sore lately.  I am thankful that it's been a while since my shoulders have been bothering me, so I guess I am due =)

With that being said, I have been stubborn and I am trying to ignore the pain by crafting.  Is it working?  No.  Is it making my shoulders worse?  Yes.  But crafting helps the soul and I am up for that!!

This week at Merry Monday, Katie has chosen the theme of using CRITTERS on your card.

I knew straight away which critter I was going to use and went from there (of course it's from Reverse Confetti - you know, the store I am always raving about).

I started with Reverse Confetti Quirky Cuties Marley Moose (and sentiment too! in Onyx Black VersaFine).  I coloured Marley with Prismacolor Premier pencils and blended with Speedball Mona Lisa Oderless Paint Thinner (100% mineral spirits).

I added Reverse Confetti Triple CheviesTag Me, Office Edges, and Circle 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts using Carta Bella Bundled Up paper collection.   I finished the card off with some stitching, American Crafts twine, and Doodlebug and MME enamel dots.

Sweet Thanks:

Happy Sunday all!  I hope your weekend has been enjoyable so far.  I have been spending a lot of my weekend in the craftroom (it's easy that or freeze my bum off outside) ;)

I used some of my new crafting goodies my hubby bought me for Christmas - isn't he just the best!!??

The star of my card is Reverse Confetti's Donut You Know Confetti Cuts and Donut You Know sentiment in Onyx Black VersaFine.  I also used Tag MeClass Act, and Love Note Confetti Cuts.  I finished the card all off with some Freckled Fawn enamel dots and Studio G (from Michaels) glitter glue to give the doughnut a smidge of yumminess =)

Mitten Joy:

Good morning all!  I do hope you have been enjoying your weekend so far.  It has been oh so very cold here, for the most part -40C (-40F).  You know it's cold when Celsius and Fahrenheit meet =)

With that being said, my card is reflects how to dress in Canada - wearing mittens!!

I started with Reverse Confetti Diagonal Stripe Pretty Panel and Class Act Confetti Cuts.  I added a Paper Smooches Joyful Greetings sentiment in Onyx Black VersaFine.  I then finished the card off with American Crafts twine, Studio Calico mini clothespin (?retired), and a Darice sequin.

My felt mittens are recycled from a mass produced greeting card that our office received for Christmas.  I knew I could cut them out and give them new life.  And I did just that.  I coloured them with a BG05 Holiday Blue Copic and attached the mittens to my card - viola!

Feather Bunches:

Happy New Year to you all!!  I took some time off from the craftroom over the holidays and now can't wait to play with all my new crafting goodies.

Speaking of new goodies...  oh wait, there are all old goodies on this card LOL.

I started with papers from MME Chalk Studio and Carta Bella Bundled Up collections, added some Spellbinder die Feathers, and stamped a Altenew Label Love in Onyx Black VersaFine ink.  I finished the card off with some stitching and Doodlebug and MME enamel dots.

I wanted to add pink to the card, but wanted it to have a more masculine feel, so I chose blue =)
