Merry Monday 261:

Happy Monday all!!

This week at Merry Monday, Kelly has asked us to use an ORNAMENT on our Christmas card:

I brought out my favourite ornament collection and new I wanted to do some metallics.  Since I couldn't decide with colour to go with, I chose to do all three.  Silver, gold, and rose gold!  I basically had these cards complete when I decided they needed a pop of colour.  Unfortunately I could not get a lot of of depth using my Zigs as I did not use watercolour paper.  Oh well!

Stamps:  Hero Arts Christmas Crystals, My Favorite Things Deer Friends
Die cuts:  My Favorite Things Merry Christmas

The Paper Players 366:

Happy Sunday to you!

This week at The Paper Players, Laurie's CAS Challenge is SPOOKY:

So... spooky hey??  I don't really 'do' Halloween.  That's right, I say it every year and usually I get the same response of 'what is wrong with you!?!'  Our Thanksgiving is over in Canada and during this time of year I have my sights set on (you guessed it) CHRISTMAS!

BUT with that being said, I am pleasantly surprised with how my little spooky card turned out.  In fact, I downright LOVE IT!  This little monsterous goblin makes me so happy!!!  Thank you Laurie for the challenge!!

Happy Saturday to you all!  It's a crisp sunny fall day out - perfect for staying indoors and crafting (I say that about ALL weather).

Today I am sharing some more (surprise, surprise) Christmas cards!  Yeah for Christmas!!!!!  Next month the tree goes up already.  THE TREE!!!!!!!!

I knew I wanted something simple yet sparkly, so I grabbed my FAVOURITE Cover Plate (Leaf Lattice) and rolled with it.

I dug through my stash and found some old sheets of glitter paper and added some stash gems too.  It feels good to thin down the stash (even if it is a minuscule amount and takes years and years)!

Normally I would not take a photo in full sun, but just look at that sparkle!!  Oh sparkle - you make my heart happy =)

I have created these cards for the following challenge:

Cheers all!  Have a great weekend!

CAS(E) this Sketch GD:

I flipped this one on it's side and created a (what else) Christmas card!

Merry Monday 260:

Happy Thanksgiving Monday all!  Yes, us Canadians celebrate our Thanksgiving in October.  We hosted a turkey supper yesterday with all the fixings.  It was delicious and I almost wish we could that well every day, although I doubt the waistline would be very forgiving =)

This week at Merry Monday, Debbie has created this awesome sketch for us to follow:

I LOVE sketch challenges!  I thought this was such a  fun sketch that I decided to create a couple of cards =)  These two added to my collection, makes 50 Christmas cards!!  I usually like to have about 100 done for December so I am only half way there *gulp*

RC October Blog Hop:

Good morning all - it's the eighth of the month, which means it's Reverse Confetti's OCTOBER blog hop!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends!  I hope your weekend is filled with love and laughter!

Although it is Turkey Day here, I am always, ALWAYS looking forward to Christmas... the MOST wonderful time of the year!!!

So of course I created a couple of fa la la Christmas cards.

I kept these cards simple (in theory) and created a few layers with die cuts, pattern paper, and cardstock.

Lastly I added some "festive pizzazz" with ribbon, twine, and jingle bells.

The Paper Players 365:

Happy Thanksgiving Sunday to you!

This week at The Paper Players, Joanne's COLOUR Challenge is rich in autumn goodness:

I STRUggled with this colour challenge.  I am not sure why.  But I did.  I just couldn't get the colours to photograph well.  This is actual my back up card as the first card turned out SO blurry and icky.  I feel my secound card turned out a smidge better, but still photographed a bit blurry.  Oh well, it's not challenge if it's not a challenge =D

Stamps:  My Favorite Things Geometric Greenery, Simon Says Stamp Sketch Ranunculus
