Tis the Season:

Hi all!  I hope you have been enjoying your week so far!  It's been snowing here quite a bit and roads are rather nasty - so do take care out there!

In lieu of Christmas being exactly ONE month away, I thought I would create a Christmas card (big shocker, right?!?!)

As I said before, I received my Christmas order in the mail on Friday from Reverse Confetti (I do hope to someday own everything Jen makes!).  Basically everything goes together and oh so versatile!  If you haven't visited Reverse Confetti yet, I ask that you do, you won't be disappointed!

Unfortunately you can't see all my fun layers with this photo - I dislike photographing white cards, yet I tend to make a lot of them - oh well!

I created this card for the following challenge:

Merry Monday 136:

Good morning all!

This week at Merry Monday, Bonnie has chosen the theme of using red, green, and white on your card.

I had lots of fun with this card using some of my favourite Reverse Confetti Cuts and stamped a Paper Smooches sentiments in Onyx Black VersaFine.  I finished it off with Studio Calico enamel dots and American Crafts twine.

As always, don't forget to check out the rest of my teamies' super fantastic creations at Merry Monday and enjoy the rest of your week!  Cheers!

Peace Love Joy:

Good morning all!!  Well Winter has certainly arrived.  It hasn't stopped snowing since yesterday morning and DH is pretty excited to take out the snowmobile =)

I have spent the whole weekend inside, watching Christmas movies and making Christmas cards.

I received my Christmas order in the mail on Friday from Reverse Confetti and couldn't wait to dig in!!

All the DP is Doodlebug Santa Express and I stamped the sentiment in Onyx Black VersaFine. I also added some Darice sequins, Recollections pearls, and finally some stitching.

Take Care:

Hi all!!  It is stormy out today which makes it the perfect weather to be crafting.

I am stepping away from Christmas (just for a quick moment) but don't be too worried about me, I have plenty more Christmas cards to make =)

I started with Clearly Besotted Fresh Flowers embossed with Stampendous! White embossing powder on kraft paper.  I coloured it in with some Copics.  The sentiment is from Waltzing Mouse Say It Loud, which I stamp on vellum and also embossed.  Lastly I added American Crafts twine and Doodlebug enamel dots.  (I can not for the life of me remember which pad of paper I took the DP from).

Be Jolly:

Hi all!  It's been a crazy week with the Holiday Season coming up quickly.  But I like the hustle and bustle!!  I have my life planned from now until December 19, after that I can relax and really enjoy Christmas.

I started with Paper Smooches Cool Dudes and gave him a fun little polka dot scarf and hat in Doodlebug Santa Express paper (I used the Icon Die to cut him out perfectly).  His little pom pom is a cotton ball from my bathroom that I cut down and shaped into a ball LOL.  I also stamped a Paper Smooches sentiment in Onyx Black VersaFine, added some fun Doodlebug and MME enamel dots, and a Reverse Confetti Tag Me Confetti Cut.

Hello all!

I usually don't use purple so I decided to challenge myself and well... use purple!

Merry Monday 135:

Good morning all!

This week at Merry Monday, Sue's challenge is to use Christmas bells on your card.

I went shabby vintage on this one and used lots of jingle and Christmas bells.

Sparkle and Shine Greetings:

I am on a roll today!!

Watching Christmas movies and making Christmas cards - best day ever!!!

My card is rather simple, I started with American Crafts POW! Cricket and Jade glitter paper and created a striped pattern.  It's a great sparkly paper to work with and doesn't get glitter everywhere, it's also rather thin so it was very easy to layer.  I embossed a Paper Smooches Joyful Greetings sentiment with Stampendous! White embossing powder on a Reverse Confetti Tag Me Confetti Cut.  I then finished it all off with some Doodlebug and MME enamel dots.
