JANUARY RC SFYTT:

Hi everyone!  As my life slowly gets back to normal after "the flu" (da da daaaaa), I am still trying to catch up.  I was finally able to take down all of my Christmas decorations and tree and do laundry.  I never thought I would be so excited to do laundry again but it feels so nice to get back to life!!

Today I am showing you my version of Reverse Confetti's JANUARY Sketch For You To Try!!

I felt so well that I "tackled" a shaker card. I had been hoarding the shaker hearts from another project and knew I wanted to go gold, mint, and navy - swoon!! That part was easy!

I created the shaker panel using Fa La La Confetti Cuts and added a pretty minty paper behind it.

Lastly I added a white heat embossed sentiment from Heart Filled Sentiments.

Merry Monday 273:

Happy Monday!  I am finally feeling better - yeah!  This weekend was the first time since Christmas that I have felt normal.  I still have the tale end of a cold but compared to that flu, I will take a cough any day!

This week at Merry Monday, Marcia would like us to use reds and turquoise on our Christmas card:

I used some new goodies I received from my hubby for Christmas!

I can't wait to use these new Simon Says Stamp stencils more now that I am feeling better!

Stamps: Simon Says Stamp Inside Holiday Greetings
Die cuts: My Favorite Things Blueprints 2, My Favorite Things Blueprints 20 (retired)
Extras: Simon Says Stamp Frozen Fractals stencil, Tim Holtz Mermaid Lagoon inkReverse Confetti Midnight ink

JANUARY RC Blog Hop:

Welcome to Reverse Confetti's November New Release blog hop!  We have lots of fun guests joining us today so be sure to check them out!!

Everything that has been showcased for the past 3 days are now available in store! Woot woot!

I knew I wanted to bring out these cutie kitties again from Heart Spots, this time colouring them to resemble cheetahs.

For the background I used Forever My Love paper and the Falling Hearts Panel.  I left the negative and positive intact so it would be too busy on the eyes.

Lastly I added a sentiment from the Congratulations set and popped up my little cheetahs.

Merry Monday 272:

Happy Monday!  I have been SO under the weather it's not even funny. I don't think I have ever been this sick.  This flu can leave anytime now thank you.

This week at Merry Monday, Leanne would like us to use glasses on our Christmas card:

When I get better I am going to add more stencils to my collection.  I love stencils. I *need* more =)

 Stamps: Reverse Confetti Christmas Cheer
Die cuts: My Favorite Things Cheers, My Favorite Things Wine Service
Extras: My Favorite Things Grid stencil (retired), Reverse Confetti Midnight ink

JAN Countdown to Confetti - Day 3:

Welcome to Day THREE of Reverse Confetti's New Release Sneaky Peekies!!!!!!

Today the team is showcasing Kindness Cards and Something Wonderful:

My original plan was to create a card with each set, but my flu (whom has been my bestie for the past week) decided otherwise.

With that being said, isn't Something Wonderful really quite wonderful??!!  I love the vintage but trendy flowers and this is my favourite Reverse Confetti font.  Win win!

I did some tone on tone stamping for the background. I am quite happy how the pattern paper and floral stamp mixed together so nicely.

I felt this stamp set needed some gold.  Gold and mint are my favourite new colour combo!  I added some gold hearts from the new Kindness Cards and Congratulations sets.
